PPF protective film and body colour change
Film is the most effective way to keep the paint flawless — or to change the look of the car completely without touching the original finish. We do both in our studio in Wierzbin near Warsaw.
What PPF film is
PPF (Paint Protection Film) is an almost invisible, flexible polyurethane film that takes on stone chips, car-park scratches, insects and road chemicals. Fine scratches in the film self-heal with heat. The paint underneath stays untouched — which matters enormously at resale, especially with premium cars.
Coverage options
Most often we protect the most exposed areas: the front package (bumper, bonnet, wings, mirrors), sills, door edges and the areas around the handles. For exceptional cars — a full-body wrap. We always match the scope to the car and the budget.
Colour change with film
Matt, satin, deep gloss, metallic — colour films let you change the character of the car completely in a few days. The process is reversible: the film can be removed, revealing the original paint it protected.
Installation that makes the difference
Film is only as good as its application. We work in a clean, enclosed bay, paying attention to edges and wrapped returns — exactly where cutting corners always shows after a few months.

A colour change with film is quoted individually after an inspection — the scope depends on the shape of the car and the disassembly required. The full range of packages is in the detailing studio.
What affects the price
- The coverage — front package, exposed areas or the whole body
- The size and shape of the car (curves, disassembly needed for edge-free installation)
- The type of film and its finish: gloss, matt, satin
- The condition of the paint — defects are worth correcting before wrapping

When this is not the best choice
If what you mainly want is easier washing and depth of gloss, and the car rarely covers long distances, a more sensible first step may be a protective coating. PPF film is the most expensive form of protection; it makes sense where stone chips and mechanical damage are a genuine risk.
Frequently asked questions
PPF film or a ceramic coating?
They are different things: PPF protects mechanically (chips, scratches), ceramic protects chemically and makes washing easier. The best result comes from combining both — film on the exposed areas, coating on everything.
How long does PPF film last?
Reputable films keep their properties for many years and come with a manufacturer’s warranty.
Does a colour change have to be reported?
Yes. The body colour appears in the vehicle registration document, so after a full wrap the change is reported to the vehicle registration office — the formality rests with the owner.
Can the film be removed?
Yes, without a trace — one of its greatest advantages. The original paint remains in the condition it was in when protected.
